Crohn’s disease (CD) is a nonspecific inflammatory of digestive tract with limited known biomarkers. We aimed to identify potential molecules involved in CD severity. Weighted gene co-expression network and differentially expressed analyses were used explore hub genes associated inflammation pathological processes the GSE83448 cohort. The expression relationship clinical characteristics normal intestinal mucosa validated GSE208303 our research cohorts. Five related identified clinically significant modules that healthy controls patients. Among them, solute carrier family 39 member 5 (SLC39A5) was reduced tissues compared tissues; low SLC39A5 CD-simplifying endoscopic score stenosis.
